Tier 2 (Rows K-P)
How was your experience?
Incredible! I have never seen choreography and acting this good in a ballet. Tomasson (artistic director) is an amazing choreographer whose choreography furthers the poignant story, as well as thrills with technical brilliance. Maria Kochetkova's performance as Juliette was brilliant, and the chemistry between her and J. Boada as Romeo was palpable. Instead of merely being a background for the principal dancers, each member of the corps de ballet had a unique character and individual choreography. In decades of attending ballet performances, this was one of the best ballets I've ever seen. It satisfies at every level; the story, artistic brilliance, passion, staging, costumes, technique, plus a wonderful live orchestra. Don't miss this one.
