Sunday October 30, 2011 / 10:00amHalloween Pirate Party
Entry + 2 Food/Game Tickets Special
How was your experience?
I went here with my 5 and 2 year olds. The party was very cute and well organized. The face painting was great, pictures with the Spongebob characters, games, balloon making, coloring and a live band. I have to say that the band was AWESOME. I do not recall their names, but the two guys really enjoy what they do. The singers took a few kiddie songs and added a more modern / rock beat to it. The kids had fun dancing to the music and playing games with them. I actually think the band made the party. The food was good - just typical kiddie food, but decent. You really need to buy many more extra tickets to get actual meals at 5 tickets per kiddie meal. The staff was friendly. The balloon making was extravagant, but the wait was too long for the balloons. Maybe more simpler balloons would be best so that you don't waste so much time waiting for the balloons. The party area was very clean, but quarters were a little tight. Overall, it was worth it. We got free tickets through Goldstar, but you will get your $20 worth if you buy the tickets. Overall it was fun and the band just made it worth it. In the end, kids got goody bags with candy and parents had the option of taking a small pumpkin home with them. Great location especially if you are driving in on a Sunday. I found free parking right down the block. It was a fun filled morning for the kiddies and what better place to do it than Manhattan.
