How was your experience?
Flip is quite the comic, and he engages his crowd in a human and relatable way. He does not pretend to be all powerful, and makes no attempt to intimidate, he simply entertains professionally and expertly. As a hypnotist, it is important to understand the crowd will have some apprehension, and he defuses the fear of being made to look silly and creates an inviting atmosphere. His adlib skills keep things moving, and despite a few slow spots related to hypnotic induction, the overall value of the show is quite good. But I think where Flip really excels is in the feeling that you want to be his friend. Because you like him so much, and want him to succeed, you overlook slow parts, or weak volunteers. The show greatly depends on the efforts of the participants, so his ability to mesh is key. A nice way to spend an evening, and highly recommended for dates.
