How was your experience?
Wonderful evening of nostalgia and social justice arousal through music, great props involving the Occupy movement, good talk about our history, and audience singing. The role of Pete Seeger was a bit overrated since there was music from Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and many others. I appreciated the continuity of social issues over these 6 decades and could have spent another hour listening to Paul Robeson, Spanish Civil War and more union songs. A great evening for old lefties.
