How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Lynne is a great find among current pianists - her trio covered Blondie, Sting, the Beatles, Dizzy Gillespie and Thelonius Monk with equal aplomb. She visited with the audience outside after her set and was gracious and signed all kinds of memorabilia. She's right up there with Brad Mehldau and Ethan Iverson (and catching up to McCoy Tyner). The sushi and kobe beef burgers and bowls of edamame and chocolate sliders and microbrews were as good as always and the servers were quiet and efficient. This club has the best size and sound system for live acoustic music in SF (comparable to Oakland's Yoshi's and Berkeley's Freight and Salvage for top venue awards). Lots of musical diversity these days, and a killer kitchen, and there's often a live band in the lounge or dining room in addition to the show!
