How was your experience?
Dogugaeshi was an interesting experience. It felt amateurish to a degree - not in a bad way - but at the same time, transportive. The live accompaniment was great and really helped. It felt like you could be in a small theater in 17th century Japan. The drawback was the venue - Studio Theatre. The risers for seating were not at a high enough angle, which made it very difficult, particularly for shorter individuals and children, to see the show over the head of those seated in the rows in front of them.
