How was your experience?
A pop music vehicle is used to tell the story of a family torn apart by the mother's mental illness. This ensemble consists of just six characters. Each was strong in acting and singing. No dancing in this play, but lots of movement. The individual performances, musicians (4-5), set design and lighting were stellar. I would have given this show five stars if the technical sound execution was better. My hearing is fine, but there were too many times when voices came through too loud and shrill, others when mics seemed dead or off and several 'POPS' of a mic and times when the instruments just wiped out the vocals. Nevertheless, I highly recommend going to enjoy this show.
