How was your experience?
The historical event detailed by the show was interesting. But the music from the show didn't really contribute much to the plot and really slowed down the pace of the show. Most of the music didn't really have a consistent melody, nor much rhyming, nor was it really in a bluegrass style most of the time. Additionally, the script didn't give us very much exposition before pinning the title character in the cave so you didn't have a chance to learn why you should care about him or his family's struggles, which were frequently refered to but never spelled out. The show was well acted and staged but the company was working with a poorly arranged script and score and they really couldn't fix that problem.
