How was your experience?
This was our first time at the Pavilion so we weren't sure what to expect. Let's start with the basics. The place is easy to find if you can deal with Chicago traffic. Parking is FREE and included with your ticket. That's a Godsend because when you hit the Pavilion, beers are $12! Yup, 2 beers cost me more than my ticket did :-). BNL were great and were the highlight of the evening. Energetic and fun and played a mix of old & new materials as well as lots of improv. Blues Traveler was awesome and although working through a cold, frontman John Popper sounded fabulously gritty. Big Head Todd & Cracker at least for me, well meh. The tickets themselves while cheap were so much right of stage and 500 ft away that 25% of the stage was missing from line of site. I guess that's the discounted piece.
