How was your experience?
The Groovelilly band is certainly a talented bunch, the voices border on greatness. The lyrics in this show however, bordered on the mundane. If I ever hear another "Ode to highway" whatever, I may start shooting from a roadside blind. Anyone who has ever traveled in a second hand motorhome can identify with the bands plight. And the story of hardship of a band on the road to nowhere is worn from many tellings over the years. The final song,"you don't get to know", the only real note of positivity in the show, left me uplifted. But I had to wait a long while for that. And why to they keep calling it a ROCK Band? They played no real rock at all. Was hoping for a community players version of American Idiot, but was left with something the muppets could have been in.
