How was your experience?
DO SEE this exceptionally creative and heartwarming play currently showing in the intimate Alcove Theater, where in this instance, there is no "4th wall," and where, in its nod to the Cupid's Span landmark, this play's direct interaction with the audience shoots the pointed message of this production directly at the heart. Whether you are a tourist looking for an insider's perspective, or a "fellow outsider" affirmatively nodding your head to every truism uttered, you'll loose yourself in the tragically-comic lives of Sunshine, Naima, Grace, Jeffrey, and Davo - ALL OF WHOM were played this particular night by the very talented local actor, Mary Gibboney. Generously answering questions and overseeing the production was playwright Anne Doherty, who herself takes the stage on particular nights. (FYI: you can call The Alcove Theater for info as to which actor has the stage on which night). Be prepared to laugh, but don't forget your hanky!!!
