How was your experience?
I've been fortunate enough to see Gotye a few other times other than at this particular show. The man is an incredible visual artist and instrumentalist. HOWEVER, the Greek completely SUCKED at this show. Our seats were located in the North Terrace up high (in a section that I've usually seen closed off so I was surprised it was open for this show). Within the first opening number, the screen adjacent to our seats went black. And it stayed black the WHOLE TIME! We couldn't see the background or him AT ALL! It was truly unacceptable! We kept yelling to get them to turn the screen back on so we could see, but the Greek barely did anything and it remained off for the whole show. Most people on that side didn't get to experience Gotye the way in that they should. I brought a friend who had never been to the Greek before (I've always ranted and raved about it to her) and she was just as frustrated as I was to not be able to see anything. Near the end of the show as people were leaving, we up and switched seats because we were left with no other choice. Gravely disappointing concert experience. Gotye is amazing, the Greek needs some help, that's for sure.
