How was your experience?
We took our two year old son to see this and he enjoyed the actual ice sculptures and his eyes were everywhere. It had a Disney feel to it once you're in. The whole experience was about 20 minutes give or take. It was definitely a winter wonderland. He especially enjoyed the slide inside the whale ice sculpture. There were a few things we didn't like. One was the wait to get in. I heard there was a freezer meltdown and it was closed for an hour or so which created a long line. We waited for 45 minutes or so and we weren't expecting that. Also before you go in, they stop you to take pictures to then sell you once you get out. Well when we looked for our pictures they weren't ready even though there were people who came after us who had their pictures ready so was not sure what happened there. They told us to wait for them, however after waiting 45 minutes in line and then another 20 minutes for the experience it was too much to wait for pictures we were more likely to not buy anyway. I think the organizers have a few kinks to work out and maybe they could do something with all that open space? It seemed like they could have done more entertaining and utilized a lot of free space, especially considering the ticket price. If we had paid full price of $25 per ticket, I would have felt ripped off. It was nice and I'm glad we went, but it's definitely not worth $25 per adult ticket.
