Assigned at Box Office
How was your experience?
I selected this Nutcracker in order to see the Ballerina performing as the Sugar Plum Fairy for the evening who is the only American selected as a Bolshoi Ballet Troupe Member - she was terrific!. Her male dancer companion was not so great, but overall, there most of the female dancers were very good and could be professionals. No live music, but I knew that. I DID NOT KNOW IT $10 pay for parking. That undoes the cheap ticket price. Also, I emailed ahead as I am handicapped. They gave me an isle seat which was not easy for me, but I made do. The film crew took up the handicapped section in the theater. I was very angry about that. No wheel chair access. No elevator and I later found out the Goldstar tickets were in the upstairs balcony and you have to walk up stairs which I cannot do without a much pain and effort. The first part of the ballet is slow, and the second part of it was fast moving with the dancing. Some folks did not know that is how most Nutcrackers are danced. Crying kids and such are the situation. And there was no announcement of intermissions and return times as they happened.
