How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
We really enjoyed Pirate's Adventure! We attended on a Wednesday evening. They seemed to be about 75% capacity due to it being a week night(I love weekdays for the smaller crowds). It's in a well decorated arena with the seating close up to all the action so all the seats are pretty much good. We arrived early for hors douvres which were happily passed around and plentiful (small meat balls, turkey or ham open sandwiches, fried mac & cheese ball appetizers, fried sweet potato appetizers, fried corn appetizers, as well as a special table in the back serving celery, carrots and broccoli with ranch dip. During this time they had drinks for purchase at their Pirate bar(a little pricy) or kids were getting their faces painted (for a fee). We visited their interesting gift shop which included a wide variety of items which seemed moderately priced (they even have pirate clothes and accessories etc all the way down to even silk roses for just .99 cents). For dinner we had choice of veg soup or salad and choice of huge chicken with rice and veg or 3 large slices of ham and mash potatoes and veg. We were given pitchers of unlimited soda and later had coffee with apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The food was pretty good, especially when you get a show with it. We ate while watching and cheering on a good old pirate swashbuckling show with plenty of action. The show occasionally included some of the guests including a lot of happy children who had a ball. There were a lot of families and birthday groups. It's a great opporunity to get in the mood by wearing any creative or simple pirate garb (check out the 99 cent or dollar stores or party stores before you go or just google for simple ideas) or you can purchase some when you get there. The service was great, the food was plentiful and we were all given utensils so we did not have to eat with our hands. The cast members were very talented and well trained. Even from the moment you enter, everyone at Pirates was welcoming and helpful, they all seemed to be in a happy mood and enjoyed their jobs. We had a great time and will definitely return. Thank you to everyone at Pirate's making our visit a good one. A special thank you to their observant staff who made it easy for me to navigate to my seat with my walking cane. And a big thank you to Goldstar's discount making it possible to enjoy more events! (p.s. the show was great, the only thing I missed was having an animal included in the show, perhaps a pirate dog, monkey or parrot.)

Help others enjoy a great night out

If you dress casual, the nicer side of casual would be best.
You can purchase drinks before the show. During the show, soft drinks are included with refills.
