How was your experience?
Perhaps I'm spoiled by comedy in a true 'big city' like LA, NYC or Chicago, however I did not find the troupe funny at all and I'm not trying to be mean. I'm not sure if this is a regular team of improv actors, however their timing and sense of comedy was quite off. I have no issue with improv students or those that are green, however the admission pricing should be commensurate to the performance quality. In other words, something like this would typically be free (and they make money off drinks) or no more than a few dollars. To pay $25 for two people at this level is unfair. The seats were broken in the theater, they only served one wine and two beers, you are situated in a basement, the music sound is very low, the piano from the 'lounge/bar' bleeds through the theater doorway and walls and last but not least - the actors were not funny. Sorry - just being honest folks. I'm an avid supporter of live theater and comedy if its deserving. Maybe it was just an off night all around with Big City??
