How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Our experience was okay. We took our four children (ages 12 to 18). We had to pay $24 for nearby parking. The narrated ride on the boat over was interesting to some degree (the parts we could hear) though there is a good bit of "save the environment" banter. The "welcome to the island" cup of steamed clams were a bit gritty and bland, but neat just the same. The food was pretty good, but I felt like we were paying for all the other customers who took the "all you can eat" buffet idea to mean "you eat all". We are a one trip around family so it wasn't exactly a bargain for us. Also the food choices aren't exactly kid friendly--thank God for fruit and bread. The show was small and a little disappointing--some old Indian stories and a few dances with only two to four dancers. We walked around the island for a bit which was okay. There was this overzealous park ranger yelling at kids for getting too close to the geese which was pretty funny. All in all the trip was okay. We won't do it again, but we did enjoy spending the day together as a family so in that regard the day was a success.
