How was your experience?
Fantastic play! Tom Stoppard fans rejoice. Especially if new to his plays, but even if not, get there early in plenty of time to read the program, as it will help orient you to the various themes Stoppard touches upon in this fast-paced, brilliant romp through fascinating intellectual, historical, aesthetic, psychological and sexual terrain. The play was engrossing, humorous, and touching. The direction, costumes and lighting were great. A first class act! I wish we'd been a little closer, as it's sometimes hard to hear in the balcony. The second half was a little louder, so perhaps they'd gotten that feedback (plus it was during previews). Two of the furthest right fseats were slightly obstructed in their view by lights, especially for short people, but we moved the kids for the second half of the show. Other than that (and the very long ladies' room lines) it was a great experience, the price couldn't be beat, and everything went smoothly. I want to see it a second time!
