How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
In two words-Don't Go. John Fisher has lost his way with this poorly thought out staging of Caryl Churchill. While it is in questionable taste to even present material equating gay sex with global atrocities, casting it as bargain gay porn titillation misses the mark entirely. The pre-show talk consisted of a mumbled reading of the program 5 minutes before the show started. Usually,I can appreciate any production of Churchill's work as a reading of the text. Though these actors certainly tried, they were both miscast and directed to try to play up any salacious aspect. Since all the seats are close enough to see splotchy fake tan, waxy smooth everything but shoulders and broken tusk toe nails, this was more than distracting. We left at intermission.
