How was your experience?
This was our first time to this venue, or seeing this show (we knew nothing about it but had heard of it). I bought tickets because they were affordable and hoped for the best. We came away very happy and very willing to go back to future productions. The venue was comfortable. I had read the AC was not there, so came dressed accordingly. I usually take a jacket because I am cold. We sat in the middle (were first to arrive but we all went in as a group when doors opened). No blocked view at all. Yes, we did buy a yummy brownie and h20 but the young salesman wasn't there. We were amazed at the sound quality. No mics? We could hear perfectly. As far as the show itself? Ditto what pretty much everyone else said. I read the few reviews shortly before our ticketed night and had high expectations. We loved the story. The acting was great. Afterwards we discussed how we both enjoyed watching the 'non-spotlighted' characters who were always in character. Not like a movie where the camera shows you what you are supposed to be looking at. We could look at anyone and they were all in character, very well done! It appears that this venue puts on good quality family type shows, which are hard to find. We support the effort and appreciate knowing there is a place we can give business to that makes this choice. As far as Goldstar, we continue to appreciate your service, although I am finding the fees a bit higher over time and sometimes opt to buy the cheaper tickets on my own rather than pay the fee. It doesn't make sense to pay almost as much for the service as the ticket. Never had a problem with getting tickets or seats, though. Thank you.
