How was your experience?
Excellent. All shows were exceptional. I especially recommend the Arnold and Stewart knifethrowing show, which is a Faire staple and always satisfying. The Bret Blackshear show, a mix of comedy and magic, was incredibly good. At one point in his show, my husband laughed 'til he made others laugh at his laughing. Bret's delivery is sensational. All vendors are very good, especially the jewelry vendors such as Argenti Jewelry. Food is high-priced, but that's normal for all faires. A good variety of food, though. Someone here just suggested that you bring your own food and drink. This is not allowed, so save up for the food. The crepes were very good and plentiful, and the fish and chips are worth the price. Avoid the pizza. And, unless you plan to get bombed with mead (beer) or just do not own a car or it's raining heavily, public transportation or the $10 preferred parking are unnecessary. There is plenty of free parking. It's a walk from the free lots to the faire and there is a shuttle, but the walk is not very long.
