How was your experience?
The club, tho lovely has issues with slow service. Considering there were only 40 ppl there Sunday night, the staff had 4 different ppl serving my table of 2 ppl. Soda was not delivered with [or before] food, so we asked and it was brought. When the original waiter came [later] with the soda, we got charged for 2. The show was a revue of Girl groups and the troupe were busy chatting to us about the groups and did less singing that I desired. But then, they were not so wonderful that more singing would have possibly been an issue. Also, to do a medley of hits from the Diana Ross & the Supremes was a tease. I'd rather hear 2 full songs vs 4 snippets of tunes. Many genres were left out and the show would have been better if it was a review of 50's and 60's girl groups, if only to lessen the amount of years they tried to cover in 75 minutes. I was told the show was 2 hours long, but it was not even 90 minutes. The Venue requires a $10 minimum purchase which was easy to sepnd considering the menu is insanely expensive. Entrees ranged from $18 - $45 and if you desired to dine light, appetizers were no less than $9 as were the desserts. Truly pricey even for Bethesda. This cost is on top of theater tickets. They need a cheaper, lighter menu for small plates and appetites.
