How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
This was ABT's July Los Angeles tour opening night with Mixed Repertoire: two Balanchine pieces, Apollo and Symphony in C, and the Chamber Symphony choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky on Dmitri Shostakovich's music. All three are different from each other in "genre" for the lack of a better word: music, theme, dynamics on the stage, choreography. The cast was excellent, ABT veterans mixed with younger eager dancers, - all displaying equally solid technique and creating exciting aura on the stage. Chamber Symphony and Symphony in C were absolutely breathtaking.
