How was your experience?
Another great performance of a Sondheim play at the Cygnet. I believe that they are using the 1996 version updated by the playwrights (notice the substitution of the word "gay" for a more offensive word in one song) but they wisely kept the play set in 1970. The women really shine in this performance - Linda Libby does a notably good job with "Ladies Who Lunch" and the actresses singing "Another Hundred People" and "Getting Married Tomorrow" also do very well. The most difficult part here is Bobby, and Andrew Wells Ryder does a credible job.
