How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
So far, the best play I've seen this year. Though most theatre audiences will laugh whenever something suggests they are supposed to, "Revelation" is actually laugh out funny. The writing is not only dark and hilarious, but very smart. The cast is excellent - everyone is strong, not a weak link in the bunch. Etienne Eckert, who plays a wheelchair bound sadist made me laugh the most. Zibby Allen is perfect as Rebecca, not only because she reminds me of people I know, but because she maintains a level of realism and empathy that helps us stay engaged in ridiculous situations. Marco Naggar (Brandon) does a great job of keeping his character from becoming too caricatured - a problem most other actors in his position would have had a difficult time avoiding. Highly recommended.
