How was your experience?
Alan Ayckbourn's Absurd Person Singular is probably his most well known play, a sort of theatre of the absurd/farce take on 70s/80s Britain. This style of comedy isn't for everyone, but if it's your thing, this is a very funny piece and a solid production. The play takes place over 3 consecutive Christmases at the homes of 3 couples (there's a 4th couple in the play, but we never see them). Each of the 3 acts takes place at the home of a different couple and watching the technicians during the two intermissions is its own show! The set design and how everything moves in out and was very well executed and a pleasure to watch. All of the actors were strong and had good comedic timing and the audience seemed please judging by the amount of laughter.
