How was your experience?
A compelling production of an EXCELLENT script. The cast was solid, though the central character of Brooke was miscast with an actress rather too young for the role (the actor playing her younger brother comes across as older) - there is no way she was even born in the 70's, let alone an adolescent back then. Nevertheless, she did a credible job in a thankless role - that of a head-strong (and relentlessly unpleasant) daughter returning home to drop a bomb-shell on her family. The rest of the cast were all terrific in their more nuanced portrayals of characters with multiple dimensions. Definitely worth the trip (and the set is one of the most gorgeous creations I've seen on-stage in some time).
