How was your experience?
I feel badly about writing this review, because this is a matter of taste. The actors did a fine job. Great energy and effort. It's obvious their motivation is to entertain and put on a good show. They were very likable. The problem is the material. The play is riddled with sight gags, broad humor, and slapstick - there's more than a bit of vaudeville populating this work. If you like this type of humor, then please go see this play. You will be highly entertained. If you're like me, and aren't especially amused watching people bumping into walls, and generally acting stupid, skip it. The entire show is performed using speech that's a hybrid of Spanish and English - "Spanglish." I had no problem with this, but my companion was a bit uncomfortable with this form of expression and didn't "get" some of it. In fairness, the vast majority of the audience appeared to greatly enjoy the performance. Wish I could say the same.
