How was your experience?
While the actors had talent and the play was well-produced and thoroughly rehearsed, it just wasn't good. The jokes were obvious and uninspired ("Miley Cyrus twerking is a sign of the apocalypse"? Really? Not original and not fresh) and the narrative really seemed to drag. I must give special mention to how many insults the playwright lobs at women in his piece: saying all women hate each other, calling them bitches, implying they're all gold diggers, actually showing a male character physically assaulting female characters (when this could easily have been accomplished using a female character as the assailant to make it more palatable). Sir, I am not amused. It's 2013 and your stale clichés are just plain insulting. I'm also extremely disappointed that the female producer allowed this on her watch. Bored and insulted, my female friend and I left at intermission. It was truly a testament to our politesse and endurance that we didn't walk out mid-show.
