How was your experience?
"Pippin" at the Old Town Theatre in Temecula. A fun night at the theatre. One of my favorite Stephen Schwartz musicals. I've seen it enough times over the years to know all the songs by heart. The sets and costumes weren't impressive, and I wasn't wowed by the choreography at all, but this wasn't a Broadway company production, so my expectations weren't that high to begin with. However, the lead actor's voices are exceptional. Good value for a night out, and Old Town Temecula is a treat. The theatre itself is just the right size; not a bad seat in the house. The stage itself is large and deep for the size of the house, and the production would be improved if the sets and action would be moved 15 feet closer to the proscenium.
