Monday November 11, 2013 / 2:00pm - 4:00pmStar Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination -- The Exhibition
How was your experience?
Family of 4: 35,18,17,15. Enjoyed the Veteran's Day Parade. Parking was free. The Star Wars Exhibition was really neat to see. Each item displayed was not a replica but the real deal from the different Star Wars episodes. The makers really paid great attention to detail on displaying costumes, weapons, star ships. Some hand-on exhibits. Fantastic 4 Stars... Picture taking is welcomed but no flash photography. Got through the Star Wars exhibit in about an hour. It was really short. Went another round. BUT FOR ANY FAN, THE DOWNFALL for us was not having the opportunity to go inside the Millennium Falcon (A Star Wars fantasy). Goldstar does not provide this as an addition so According to the Tech museums website "first come first serve" Even if you came early, it would have been sold out anyways. This is what happened when we arrived at will-call. So much for first come first serve. Even called the museum right when it opened. "Sold out" Bummer. It can be purchased early through the Tech museum online as a Jedi package. Which defeats the purpose of the Goldstar discount & most likely would have to return. We dressed in throwback Star Wars T-shirts. 15 year old wore his Obi One Kenobi replica costume and really hoped to take a picture in his replica suit in "The Millennium Falcon" cockpit. We only went to this museum for the Star Wars Exhibition only. Coming from a 2 hour commute it would of been nice to have the full Star Wars experience. Instead of seeing the halls of the Millennium Falcon and not being able to go inside. In the future, this should be included to avoid disappointments and sell outs .Thanks Goldstar for the discount tickets.
