Sunday December 1, 2013 / 5:00pmRingling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Built to Amaze!
Lower Level/Club Level Seats
How was your experience?
Our seats were good, but they were on the end of the United Center, rather than in the middle. So, we were a distance from the action. The circus was ok, but it is only a shadow of the circus that Ringling Bros was years ago. Remember the 3 ring circus with the clown troupe filling in while the next act was being set up? Well, no longer. There is one large ring in the center, and they cycled the acts through there. There were maybe 5 or 6 major acts, instead of the 10 - 12 that I remember from when my kids were young. Still, it was worth the price of admission. The grandkids enjoyed it, because they had nothing to compare it to. I am still shocked at the pricing of the "treats." Paying $8 for popcorn, $12 for a sno-cone and $15 for cotton candy is a rip off, even when you consider the cheap cup or hat that they combine with the treat to make the price more palatable. Give me a real circus, and I'll be more than willing to pay a higher price. I'd rather have a more exciting circus for the additional $45 that I spent on the treats, than fill my gkids with junk food.
