How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
Great performance. While it's never explicitly stated, the company seemed to have shifted the setting to WWI. The presence of firearms definitely indicated a more modern setting but it wasn't completely clear. No dialog was changed, though, and nothing felt odd at all about the difference. The acting was great; charged and exciting. The porter was awesome and much improved from his gravedigger role in Hamlet. MacDuff got a little overly impassioned and became hard to understand towards the end but there's a tough balance to be struck. The children in the show did amazing jobs with their parts. The very end is a little different from what I remember of the original but all the creepier for it. A nice subtle twist.

Help others enjoy a great night out

The event is general admission so be sure to arrive early if you care about where you are sitting.
The theatre is actually on a high school campus so don't let that surprise you. It's still a great space, though!
