Preferred Side Ring
How was your experience?
The Big Apple Circus is always fun for kids of all ages! It is a small, one-ring circus so not so overwhelming as the Barnum and Bailey. With the small size, there are fewer things to see though. This one had a fantastic acrobat troupe, two amazing tightrope walkers, ladder walkers, a twosome who could do some amazing balancing acts, horses, dogs, a flim flam man, and a clown who interacted well with the audience. It was a fun afternoon. There are no bad seats and that is a real plus! The tent was cold inside, so I suggest you bring a blanket for the little ones in case they get cold and be sure to bring a sweater or jacket. My feet were cold and I had on wool socks. There is food to purchase including cotton candy, popcorn, and hot dogs if you are hungry. Lots of surprises to purchase. There are restaurants in area if you want to eat before or after the Circus. We went to the Kinsale. Very good food and lots of variety.
