How was your experience?
The comedians were great but the service at Cobb's was absolutely pathetic. I purchased 5 tickets through Goldstar (awesome) and arrived at will call about 15 minutes prior to showtime. Passed out the "raffle tickets" to my party and remained outside with another person. Went inside the doors only to find that they wouldn't let my father in because he lost his ticket. He received the drink stamp after showing his ticket at the door and somehow lost it. They held up my whole party when they should have seated those of us with tickets so they wouldn't get stuck in the back row while it got straightened out. They were militant saying he could not come in without the ticket and the stamp had nothing to do with getting in the show. Why would my dad at 69 yrs of age try to sneak into a comedy show with 4 paid family members?!?!?! The "manager" was as rude as the door chick....not offering a solution to the problem other than buying a new ticket. BS! Finally got him to check with the will call person who confirmed my purchase. He reluctantly admitted this and I turned to enter the show when the door nazi.....er...chick jumped in front of me to block my entrance. Are you kidding me? I said the "manager" said I was clear, she looked at him and asked if I could enter, he affirmed and I finally got to my party...again without assistance from the putrid staff. Not impressed with Cobb's and may take my business to the Punchline even though I can walk to Cobb's from my apt.
