How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
It was raining all week and I really worried that it will be gloomy day during the champagne brunch cruise. It turned out to be a gorgeous day - warm and sunny! We boarded the Entertainer at 11:30. There were far fewer people than I anticipated (perhaps due to the rainy weather all week). The boat was beautiful and really big. There were three decks. The first deck had some tables and a loungy area with sofas. The second deck, where the brunch took place, had a buffet table set up in the middle with tables on either side next to the window. The third deck was an open deck. The wait staff were very friendly and they kept the champagne flowing. The buffet consisted of salads, fruit plate, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, roast beef, ham, fish, muffin, cinnamon roll, crossants and an array of desserts. The food was decent; nothing to rave about. I was happy there was a fruit plate and the breakfast sausages were alright. The roast beef was overcooked and not tender, but honestly, I guess I really wasn't expecting that much from the buffet line. The atmosphere was wonderful, perhaps because there were far fewer people who attended this Sunday brunch than usual due to the weather. We walked up to the top deck and enjoyed the sunshine. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins who wandered into Newport Harbour. We enjoyed the sun, took photos, chatted with other brunch-goers. For four of us, brunch and tax and tip was $211. It certainly isn't cheap. But it sure was a unique experience and a good time for the two hour harbour cruise and free flowing champagne!
