How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
This was our first time going to the Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival. My husband thought it was kind of weird to be having it in July, but he's not a holiday lover of any sort. We were invited by our friends who have a booth there every year (Calaveras Coffin Company) and we really wanted to support their business. We absolutely LOVED this environment!! It was so much fun environment. Lots of displays and things to do with the kids and for the adults too. High energy and friendliness from everyone of the merchants. I bought a hundreds of dollars of super-cool stuff; not to my husband's delight. LOL!! I highly recommend you take the whole family. The kids were squealing with delight, but I think the adults were in heaven the most.

Help others enjoy a great night out

Info
Trying to find the Long Beach Convention entrance to the Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival was a total hassle. It took us literally an hour and a half after we parked to find to find the entrance. We walked all the way around the entire building. The people who worked at the convention didn't know where the festival was or that it was even going on and were NOT friendly or helpful at all. They should at least have a meeting to tell the staff what's going on and how to help to direct people to the entrance. There weren't any signs either, so be prepared to get lost if you don't park at the right garage, which I would tell you where that was, but obviously we didn't park there. LOL!! Oh, no one was at the entrance to check our tickets or our parking, so we could have technically get in for FREE. I think the secret is going there around 4:30 PM like we did because the festival ends at 7:00 PM and they seem like they really didn't care who got into the festival.

PARKING - The cost for parking starts at $15.00 at the lots. BUT, no one was at the entrance to our parking, so we parked for FREE. I think the secret is going there around 4:30 PM like we did because the festival ends at 7:00 PM and they seem like they really didn't care who got into the festival.
