About Brian Posehn
If you're a fan of alt comedy from the '90s, 2000s and beyond, chances are you're already a fan of Brian Posehn and don't even know it. The large, bearded comedian first gained a national audience as a slightly less large, clean-shaven writer and performer on HBO's cult favorite "Mr. Show", which led to appearances in hit sitcoms like "Seinfeld", "NewsRadio", "Friends" and "Just Shoot Me". Known for his self-deprecating sense of humor and lifelong love of comic books and heavy metal, Posehn joined Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis and Maria Bamford on the "Comedians of Comedy" tour, and starred in the documentary and Comedy Central series of the same name. Posehn's recent highlights include a hilarious role as gay neighbor Brian in "The Sarah Silverman Program", three stand-up specials including 2013's "The Fartist" and recurring roles on "New Girl" and "The Big Bang Theory". See him perform at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco.
