The Grove is a challenging space to play in, and seating is uncomfortable since dinner tables are set up so that you end up sitting perpendicular to the stage. Certainly you can move your chair, but if it's a full house, it is hard to maneuver so that you are not blocking people.
At the event you can't bring in any outside food and thought this was unconventional since we are dealing with toddlers and we don't necessarily want them to eat hotdogs and soda.
We went to dinner at Downtown Disney before the event. But the Garden Walk is just down the street and there are a number of good restaurant to choose from. Also if you just want to eat around there, Catch is just next to the Grove. And there are fast food restaurant across the street.
The weather was cold. I wore jeans and sweater..
Dine at The Catch which is 50 feet away from the Grove.
