704 City National Grove of Anaheim Tips
They offered one "drink special" - a $7 vodka and cranberry drink (it was good).
I wore i wore a long flowy dress my husband wore a suit it was grown folks night the temp inside was perfect.
We ate at The Cheesecake Factory before hand. Always delicious.
The Grove is a challenging space to play in, and seating is uncomfortable since dinner tables are set up so that you end up sitting perpendicular to the stage. Certainly you can move your chair, but if it's a full house, it is hard to maneuver so that you are not blocking people.
At the event you can't bring in any outside food and thought this was unconventional since we are dealing with toddlers and we don't necessarily want them to eat hotdogs and soda.
We went to dinner at Downtown Disney before the event. But the Garden Walk is just down the street and there are a number of good restaurant to choose from. Also if you just want to eat around there, Catch is just next to the Grove. And there are fast food restaurant across the street.
Dine at The Catch which is 50 feet away from the Grove.
DSB: A Tribute to Journey
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory after the performance. Food was delicious, service was great!
About a mile north on St.College is Angelo's where you can get monster beers for $5.50 and they also have the best onion rings around!
The weather was rainy, although they had outdoor patio heaters, inside was nice.. I wore casual/dinner wear.
We had appetizers and a drink at the Catch right across private entry road. We love going to the Catch.
