Signature Theater offers salads and sandwiches in the lobby. They're overpriced, but you could do worse.

The weather was cold. I wore the usual female winter garb of long pants, boots, sweater and pashima.
Get there early enough to find parking.
If you go on Sunday evening, be mindful of when the buses leave for Ballston and Pentagon. You will have to wait a while.....

The weather was Cold. I wore a colorful sweater and black pants.
The performers exit backstage into the lobby so if you linger there you can see and chat with them (and the bar is still open).
I always get a glass of wine and a snack there to support the theater. You can ttake it into the performance with you and even have a small table to set food down at your seat.
Park in indoor the lot behind Signature, not the Harris Teeter lot which has time restrictions.
The weather was threatening. The big snow had just started nut I knew the theater door was just steps from a parking garage... I wore jeans and a nice sweater..
The weather was cold. I wore boots and a down coat expecting the theater to be chilly but it was quite comfortable, even with the polar apocalypse about to descend..
