34 Atlanta Symphony Hall Tips
- Dressy 2
- Parking is cheap 1
The weather was A warm Fall night in GA. I wore A dress and heels. I like to dress up a bit when I go out to a show and to dine..
Parking is possible on Peachtree St right outside Woodruff Arts Center. You pay until 10PM - at a kiosk on the street. Then it's free after that. That gives you time for a bite after the show if you want. We got to the parking close to 7PM and paid $8. There are also parking garages in the area.
We had wine and appetizers right on the grounds of the Woodruff Arts Center at the 1280 lounge. Nice atmosphere. Mature crowd.
Leave home in plenty of time. We live less than 7 miles from Symphony Hall, and it took us 45 minutes to get there and park.
$10 right across the street
I wore A black dress, husband wore a suit minus the tie. Many others were much more casually dressed but I would recommend staying on the dressier side..
Shout restaurant across the street was wonderful ...walking distance was perfect!
