About Westin Peachtree Plaza
The circular skyscraper with the distinct mirrored exterior has been an iconic fixture in downtown Atlanta since it opened in 1976. Designed by famed architect John Portman, it’s also well known for its rotating Sun Dial restaurant, offering unmatched 360-degree views of the Metro Area and beyond from its 73rd floor perch.
The Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel is also the second-tallest all-hotel skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere, and was featured prominently in the 1981 film Sharky’s Machine with Burt Reynolds.
