About The Grand
One of Baltimore’s most historic buildings, The Grand was built in 1866 to be the headquarters for the Maryland Freemasons. After a massive restoration project, this iconic building reopened in 2005 with all of its original grandeur. The Grand’s Old World opulence boasts 19 stunning ballrooms, rich marble stairways, stained glass windows and soaring ceilings, making it the perfect setting for any sophisticated event, while its more intimate rooms bring an elegance to smaller gatherings. It’s a versatile combination that has made The Grand an ideal filming location for TV shows like House of Cards and Veep.
