Parking in garage right across the street from Berkeley Rep. Reasonable at $5.00 for the whole evening up until 12:00 am, when the parking garage closes.

Multiple local parking garages have $5 evening rates, including the one across the street from Berkeley Rep. While there's street parking you might spend more time you want to finding it; this is a happening district with bars, restaurants, other theatres and a big folk club.

Parking is a premium in Berkeley because of the students and the increase in residential activity. I went on a Tuesday evening and parking was difficult. Garage was full and had to park 4 blocks from theater. Suggest taking public transit or getting there early and going to dinner.

We were seated in the last row near a fan, so it became necessary for us to use hearing devices during the 2nd half of the play. We missed some of the dialogue during the first half. If you're seated way in the back, we suggest the hearing devices.
