462 The Marsh Berkeley Tips
The Marsh Theater is an intimate theater complex with multiple small theaters where there isn't a bad seat in the house. They cater to one-person shows that are personal stories with a wider appeal to our common humanness. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Check out their eclectic offerings!

The wonderful Bistro Liaison is just a few blocks north, at Shattuck and Hearst. For delicious and authentic French Provencal food in a cosy atmosphere, this is the perfect pre-play restaurant. I live in this neighborhood and it is my favorite.

Greeter for show was a young man in his twenties, with the Superior Customer Service skills of a seasoned Business & Professional undergraduate. You felt welcomed to the Marsh Theater right as you entered the double clean glass doors. Outstanding front door greeter. Pictured in this review.

Take BART to Berkeley Station; it's just a five-minute walk. Much easier than trying to park in downtown Berkeley.
We parked on Bancroft probably 1/2 a mile away. It was a nice walk on a cool evening. Parking on street is free after 6pm.
There is a bar where you can purchase mainly alcoholic drinks and Italian sodas. They don't sell coffee mainly becaus eit doesn't sell. There was one decaf tea and liptons. Anything purchased in the bar can be taken into the theater - nice touch.
