Bethesda Metro stop is across the street. So is a large public garage where cheap parking is metered on weekdays and free on weekends.
The metered parking on Waverly Street is free on weekends and is just a block from the theater.
At the Capital Grill, food is tasty and relatively reasonable, but get your order in at least an hour before showtime, dishes didn't come out with any expediency. And there's a parking garage for $8 right downstairs, about 1.5 blocks from theater.
Public parking lot right across East-West Highway -- I paid $3 for the evening.
The show is one 2-hour act with no intermission and they do a good job of notifying you of the lack of a potty break up front. It appears that the Round House Theatre will be undergoing renovations much of 2019 and the shows will be relocated to the Lansburgh Theater in DC. I'll miss them in Bethesda but look forward to their return in 2020.
Reject seats in rear of orchestra or bring a hearing aid, even if you have perfect hearing.
“Master Harold” … and the boys
Dine before the show, especially on week nights. On Thursday night, all the nearby restaurants were closed or closing when I exited the theater.
The Roundhouse Theatre apparently does Free Beer Fridays for an hour after the show, so keep that in mind when choosing which day to go.
The weather was freezing inside, hot outside. I wore Why are the answers about dress code always above the actual reviews on Goldstar?.
The weather was beautiful. I wore normal clothes, and I was freezing. Seriously, bring a heavy coat and an extra pair of socks. It was probably 55-60 degrees in the theater..
Two parking garages half block away on Waverly - free on weekends.
We ate at the Daily Grill and sat outside which was totally delightful, given the perfect weather. Despite being in the heart of Bethesda, it kind of felt like a beachfront restaurant because of the breeze. Food and happy hour drinks were very good.
Take the Metro.. It is a block away and definitely the best way to get there from DC.
We met-up at Happy Hour at the Daily Grill
The weather was chilly. I wore sports jacket and jeans...was very comfortable.
