They have a modest jewel-box of a gallery inside that you may want to take a moment to check out before/after, too.

Which door to enter was not entirely clear to us first-timers, so you may want to allow a tad more time if this applies to you as well.

Friday night we parked at a meter across the street - 2 hours was still $$$, but less than garage.

The regular rates of $2 an hour for the parking garage under the Wallis suddenly changes to $8 before showtime. Walk a few blocks and park on the street (different rules for different streets).

The weather was on the cooler side. I wore jeans and a sweater. Dress warm. They crank up the AC. .

We went to a Saturday matinee and parked at in the venue's lot. Plenty of parking spots, easy in/out, and only $5.

Parking is really easy and the facility is large, well-lighted, well-managed and pretty cheap. The fun part is figuring out how to actually get to the theater!

The parking is under the theatre and can be approached from S. Santa Monica or Crescent. Parking is $8 currently, but if you come in before 6 pm, be sure to pay the attendant on your way out rather than at the kiosk. The kiosk will charge you triple(!) because it is programmed to assume that people entering prior to 6 pm were there for city hall business rather than the theatre. (I got this tip from the parking attendant).
