The weather was chilly (it was in early November).. I wore a sweater and coat..

the boarding photo that is offered to you on the beginning is $20.. it's up to you, I didn't purchase it and found my driving photo to be much better :)
The tour suggests parking at the museum but we actually parked for free in a parking lot right at the river (on the southbound side of Storrow). It's adjacent to a playground/wading pool and just behind the state police station that is next to the museum.
The weather was sunny but windy and brisk.. I wore a knee-length dress under a sweater, with flats..

The trips go rain or shine so be dressed and ready...I do suggest using the bathroom before hand especially since you will be going out on the water.
