Went to the 4pm show on Sunday, so we dined afterwards. Plenty of places in the area to eat, especially if you like Japanese food, but we had 6:30pm reservations at Yoshi's Cafe just a couple of block north (Halsted & Aldine). Could probably have made 6:00pm reservations. We arrived at the restaurant early, but they were able to accommodate us right away. Pricey, but the service was excellent, as were the food and drinks. Smart casual is the attire. I would definitely go back.

We researched parking options in advance and arrived about 25 mins early to make sure we had time to find parking. Parked in a small garage on Broadway that was a straight walk a couple of blocks down Briar, so not too far, even in the rain. It was also conveniently located near the restaurant, so it worked out perfectly. Didn't like that it was Valet or $18 for over 2 hours, but better than wasting time and gas looking for street parking.

The weather was rainy. I wore a nice top, slacks, and a raincoat. Others wore jeans, so I don't think it matters much how you dress there..

The weather was overcast 50's. I wore a sweater, dress slacks.
If you arrive early, parking is next to building. Cars are blocked in but everyone was kind enough to get back to cars right after show!

If you're staying in downtown Chicago, you can easily take a Red Line (we got on at Harrison) to Howard. The theatre is a short walk from the Howard stop.

When the show starts you are not allowed to purchase anymore alcohol. Stock up early. Also, they don't check people so bringing in other alcohol seems to be easy.
